Railroad Construction Company, Inc. is moving up on the list of ENR New York Top Contracting Firms. Up 12 spots from 2018, RCC lands 39th on the list. The MTA Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) Mid-Suffolk Electric Yard Project is a huge contributor to the jump.

RCC has been working diligently to complete the Design/Build yard expansion project, east of the LIRR Ronkonkoma Station in Ronkonkoma, NY. Once complete, the expansion will include a lead track configuration from the main line into the new yard, 11 additional storage tracks, each with a 12 car electric train holding capacity, new employee facility, material storage facility, car cleaning utility shed, switch tender/drill crew shed and guard booth.
