Jul 23, 2019
Each quarter, the Associated Construction Contractors of New Jersey (ACCNJ) Safety Recognition Program identifies someone who has shown an exemplary commitment to safety or performed a random act of safety.
Keith McGrath, RCC Foreman is the recipient of the award for this quarter.
Keith's commitment to safety:
"Through his career at Railroad Construction Company, Inc. Keith has been an active part of the safety program helping in numerous ways to expand the safety culture. It is evident on the project sites Keith oversees that safety is more than just a priority to him, it is a core value. Keith has implemented numerous new safety related initiatives on projects, many of which have been adopted and implemented on a company wide basis. In the six years Keith has been a foreman the crews he has lead have had zero lost time or recordable incidents. Keith is currently a Foreman on an 11 million dollar new bridge construction project in Linden, NJ. This project has a host of sensitive and potentially hazardous conditions including building over active railroad tracks and within close proximity to heavy critical utilities. Keith has taken the lead ensuring all work is being performed safely and adequate pre-planning by all involved, including subcontractors is occurring to keep our co-workers safe and prevent an incident."
